On Tuesday, February 21, 2017 a landslide occurred in Eden, UT. “The landslide area was about 150 feet across and 300 feet long,” geologists said. The debris flow, or mudflow, was triggered because there was too much water in the ground from the melting snow. The area flowed because of the lack of particle friction and cohesiveness. Fortunately, there were no injuries; however, one home was damaged. “One door was knocked in along with part of the wall around the door. A large branch also went through their garage wall and took out the power. ”
